Herzog
One of Tambour's first approved sons, the 16.3h Herzog is linebred to Consul and Flaneur and also to the great Flaneur daughter Maharani II through her sons Mahagoni and Mackensen. In addition, he carries multiple crosses of foundation mares Tapete and Herbstgold, further consolidating his pedigree.
After earning his approval at Neumünster in 2005, Herzog didn't rest on his laurels. Sent to Main Stud Marbach for his stallion performance test, he impressed everyone with his laid back temperament, his powerful movement and his ability over fences. He clearly won the jumping part with an index of 136.57 points and left the performance test as the overall winner, with his stall neighbor Kasimir finishing second.

Herzog's dam Herzogin descends from Gestüt Schmoel/Panker's famous Herbstgold family, a line which has produces approval champions Herzzauber and Herzensdieb as well as Premium Stallion Herzkristall, just to name a few.
